This places Web Wiz with other major Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and allows us to make direct IP address allocations on behalf of our customers.

Although the internet is mostly unregulated, the allocation and registration of Internet number resources (IP Addresses) is controlled very carefully by five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs).

The Réseaux IP Européens Network Coordination Centre (RIPE NCC) is an independent, not-for-profit membership organisation and serves as one of five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs). Its service region incorporates Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia. The RIPE NCC is responsible for the allocation and assignment of Internet Protocol (IP) address space, Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs) and the management of reverse domain names within RIPE NCC service region.

Web Wiz has today released version 10.02 of our popular Web Wiz Forums bulletin board software that adds a number of bug fixes, improvements, and new configuration features.

This release is aimed mainly at fixing bugs in the new version 10, but also includes a few new features including an update to Active Users and an option to select who can view Member Profiles.

A number of bugs that have been reported in our Support Forums have been addressed and fixed, including reports of Forum Members receiving a permission denied errors when posting in forums, MySQL Database errors, RSS Feeds, Points System, improved character support for the Chat Room, and others.
