Web Wiz Forums 10.11 Released

Web Wiz ForumsWeb Wiz is pleased to announce the next major release of our flagship web application  Web Wiz Forums, which adds a number of new features, security, and anti-spam tools to Web Wiz Forums.

New features include;

  • StopForumSpam - Checks with the StopForumSpam service to block known spammers from registering.
  • New SPAM Cleaner Tool - One stop tool for removing, blocking, and cleaning up messages from a spammer.
  • New SSL Support - Native support for SSL encryption for sensitive sections including Registration, Login, Profiles, Admin Area, etc.
  • EU Cookie Directive Compliance – New EU Rules on the use of Cookies becomes law in the UK as of May 2012. Updates to Web Wiz Forums allow you to comply with these new laws.
  • New Date/Time Format – New date and time formats display time since in hours and minutes for dates under 24 hours.
  • HTTP XML API updated to version 2.0.
  • Plus many other enhancements and bug fixes.
