Web Wiz Opens New Eco Data Centre17 May 2018, in Web Wiz News, Eco Data Centre Web Wiz is pleased to announce the opening of our new 1,800 sq. ft. Eco Data Centre facility in Poole, Bournemouth, Dorset on the South Coast of the UK. The location of the purpose-built Data Centre was selected as it situated on the highest point in Poole to reduce the risk of flooding.
Green energy efficiency was at the heart of our new Eco Data Centre design, with Generators powered by Natural Gas rather than Diesel and A++ rated Heat Exchangers to keep the Data Hall cool. We understand that to our customers' service outages are a major concern that is why we have two diverse Fibre Connections coming into the building at opposite sides, one from BT OpenReach and the other from Virgin Media.
Over the next couple of months, we will be migrating our Equipment and Servers co-located at 3rd Party Data Centres over to our new Eco Data Centre.

New Web Wiz Head Office01 December 2017, in Web Wiz News We have now moved into our new Head Offices at Unit 18, The Glenmore Centre, Fancy Road, Poole, Dorset, UK.
Last May Web Wiz Ltd purchased a new industrial unit in Poole, Dorset, UK, with the aim to build purpose-built Offices on the 1st Floor and Data Centre on the Ground Floor. The building project is to be carried out in stages with the 1st Stage being to build new Offices, Server Build Room/Lab, Network Operations Centre (NOC) and Storage.
The 2nd Stage is to build our new Data Centre with Server Room, Switching Gear, UPS, Air Conditioning and Green LPG Backup Generators, and Solar Panels. We are pleased to announce that the 1st Stage is now completed and we have now moved into our new purpose built 1st Floor Offices. In the new year, we will be moving on to the 2nd Stage of the Build Project, the construction of our new Data Centre on the Ground Floor.
