GTT Transit Partner24 July 2024, in Eco Data Centre At Web Wiz, we are delighted to introduce our new IP transit partner, GTT, and a new 10 Gbps fibre circuit from Openreach and TalkTalk, linking our Data Centre to GTT's Internet Exchange Point (IXP) in LD4, Slough, UK.GTT joins our other Tier 1 transit providers, allowing us to directly connect our Data Centre to the Internet backbone and the largest global fibre networks, providing our data centre with low latency and highly redundant connectivity.

Telia Transit Partner26 May 2021, in Eco Data Centre Web Wiz is pleased to announce our new IP transit partner Telia along with a new fibre circuit from Openreach connecting our Data Centre to Telia's POP (Point-Of-Presence) in LD5, Slough, UK. Telia is the third Tier 1 provider joining Lumen and Cognet to connect our Data Centre directly to the Internet backbone using diverse fibre circuits to POPs in; Telehouse North, London Docklands - Cogent, Canary Wharf, London - Equinix, LD5, Slough. Each of our three Tier 1 transit partners, Lumen, Cogent, and Telia, are consistently ranked by CAIDA's as having the most extensive global networks. Selecting the three largest Tier 1 network providers reduces the number of networks traffic needs to traverse to reach our Data Centre for faster low latency connections.

Cogent Transit Partner20 April 2021, in Eco Data Centre Web Wiz is pleased to welcome our new IP transit partner Cogent, which will enhance network connections to our Data Centre.Cogent is a Tier 1 transit provider, joining Lumen (formally CenturyLink) to connect our Data Centre directly to the Internet backbone by multiple POP's (Point-Of-Presence). A new ethernet fibre circuit utilising Virgin Media's network adds additional routes connecting our Data Centre to Cogent Communications POP in the heart of London's Docklands.

CenturyLink Transit Partner20 October 2020, in Eco Data Centre At Web Wiz, we are continually improving our network to give better connectivity to our customers. Web Wiz is pleased to welcome our new IP transit partner CenturyLink, which will enhance network connections to our Data Centre.CenturyLink, formally Level 3, is a Tier 1 provider from which all other networks on the Internet can be reached. By connecting directly with a Tier 1 provider it reduces the number of networks traffic needs to traverse to reach our Data Centre for faster low latency connections. We continue to add new IP Transit and Peering Partners to our network which uses diverse BGP Routing to choose the shortest path across the Internet automatically. If the path from your location to our Data Centre is faster by another of our network partners, then traffic will take that route.
