Telia Transit Partner26 May 2021 Web Wiz is pleased to announce our new IP transit partner Telia along with a new fibre circuit from Openreach connecting our Data Centre to Telia's POP (Point-Of-Presence) in LD5, Slough, UK. Telia is the third Tier 1 provider joining Lumen and Cognet to connect our Data Centre directly to the Internet backbone using diverse fibre circuits to POPs in; Telehouse North, London Docklands - Cogent, Canary Wharf, London - Equinix, LD5, Slough. Each of our three Tier 1 transit partners, Lumen, Cogent, and Telia, are consistently ranked by CAIDA's as having the most extensive global networks. Selecting the three largest Tier 1 network providers reduces the number of networks traffic needs to traverse to reach our Data Centre for faster low latency connections.
