Upgrade to Mail Servers

As part of our ongoing solution to bring our customers the best possible service we have over the Easter break upgraded both our Primary and Backup Mail Servers to bring you improved performance, AJAX webmail, improved anti-SPAM and anti-virus protection, and increased backup frequency.

New AJAX Webmail

The new AJAX webmail service brings you the power of a desktop email client to your web browser, allowing to use your Web Wiz Mailboxes from any computer with an internet connection and a web browser.

The use of snapping panes, drag-and-drop, and other intuitive user controls give the Web Wiz Webmail service one of the most advanced Web interfaces available. The powerful interface with numerous tools can also have the Contacts and the Events Calendar synced with Outlook on your own PC giving you access to your Contacts and Calendar while being out of the office.

New Anti-SPAM and Anti-Virus Server

We have introduced our new Artemis Server based on Linux SpamAssassin and ClamAV. This new Anti-SPAM and Anti-Virus Server improve on our present anti-spam solution scanning all incoming email and marking any emails detected as being SPAM with a Low, Medium, and High subject prefix allowing you to use this with your own anti-spam solutions.

All email to our network is scanned for viruses and any email detected as containing a virus is removed before it ever reaches your inbox.
