Web Wiz is pleased to announce that we are now a Member of RIPE (Réseaux IP Européens) and a Local Internet Registry (LIR).

This places Web Wiz with other major Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and allows us to make direct IP address allocations on behalf of our customers.

Although the internet is mostly unregulated, the allocation and registration of Internet number resources (IP Addresses) is controlled very carefully by five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs).

The Réseaux IP Européens Network Coordination Centre (RIPE NCC) is an independent, not-for-profit membership organisation and serves as one of five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs). Its service region incorporates Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia. The RIPE NCC is responsible for the allocation and assignment of Internet Protocol (IP) address space, Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs) and the management of reverse domain names within RIPE NCC service region.

Our Highly Available Servers hosted on Active Clustered Nodes are able to failover, with no interruption to service, to Passive Clustered Nodes in the event of hardware failure, maintenance, or upgrades.
 
High Availability Failover Hosting for Shared Hosting and Hyper-V Virtual Server Hosting is a similar solution to more expensive solutions used to host high traffic mission critical websites.
