.NET CoreWeb Wiz is pleased to announce support for ASP.NET Core 1.1 (formally ASP.NET 5) on all our Windows Server 2016 Web Hosting Packages and Reseller Web Hosting Packages, as well as supporting previous ASP.NET versions including ASP.NET 4.6.1

ASP.NET Core is a new cross-platform open source web framework and is the next generation of ASP.NET. Microsoft's ASP.NET Core is a complete rewrite that combines previous separate ASP.NET MVC and Web API into a single modular framework. 

Features in ASP.NET Core 1.1.0 include;

  • Cross-platform ASP.NET (Windows, Linux, Mac)
  • Entity Framework Core 1.0 (EF Core 1.0)
